“The place was cooler than the pictures. Tucked way back in a private community was very cool. Great view of the timber and the animals. Our only complaint is that the remotes need labels, I know first world problems right!! You will not be disappointed with this cabin or the views.”

“This was a brief birthday getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday. The cabin was cozy and comfortable during this cold January week. It is well equipped and the view of the river is fantastic. We had a wonderfully relaxing time.”

“The cabin is spacious and accurate as listed. It has a large table and enough chairs which is often lacking in cabins that sleep a larger group. Kitchen was workable and kept the group together with one great room. The beds got rave reviews from the group. The fire pit was perfect for gathering outside. The wooded area was fun for walking and exploring. Hot tub was a bonus. Lots to do in the surrounding area. I would caution you that if stairs are a concern for someone in your group- this might……

“Super nice cabin that was in an excellent location! So clean and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend away! Would highly recommend and we plan to visit again! ”

“Great location for hiking and seeing the effigy mounds. Plenty of little towns nearby to have a meal if you so choose. The cabin is beautiful inside with all the amenities needed for a very cozy stay. Wonderful place for a quiet getaway! ”

“My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ……

“The cabin was perfect for our stay. It’s was so clean, had everything we needed for four relaxing days. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading - even though it was pretty chilly. Nuthin’ a parka couldn’t handle. My husband trout fished in the morning and evening, and we had great meals in Viroqua, which is such a cool city!”
