“I rented this place for me and my girlfriend to spend a couple of days. It’s beautiful and very well maintained. It’s tucked back in the woods in a valley and 5 mins from town. I would highly recommend. ”

Was surprised that the main floor had no window coverings - cabin is pretty secluded, but a bit more privacy would have been nice.Hot tub was a great temperature, but only about 20% of the jets seemed to be doing anything. Also was a bit of a pain to bring our own bedding and towels (we had to buy sheets as we didn't have standard king sheets) - there was supposedly a discount for bringing our own, but I don't know what the price would have been anyway, and there……

“My husband and I took a last-minute getaway for his birthday. The home was really nice and right on the river. It was a quiet area for the exception of the train which was no bother. The property was near state land which allowed us to do some hiking. Just a 20 minute drive into town for restaurants and shopping. ”

“Has just about everything you need. Would recommend some newer pots and pans and updating the amenities listing.”

“We absolutely loved staying at this rental. It was clean, cozy, easy to access and secluded. It was very comfortable- there were plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and little touches to make you feel right at home. When a repair took place, the communication was transparent and we weren't inconvenienced in the slightest. The cabin is near wonderful hiking paths and a short drive from basic needs like groceries, gas, and firewood. I would highly recommend this rental if you'd like a quiet……

“we enjoyed our stay, the place was very roomy and easy to find. we enjoyed the hot tub. we didn't like the hand rail on the stairs(they seemed steep) it was to big (your hands couldn't grip it) but it was a great get away and very relaxing”

“We recently had a weekend getaway to this location. The property manager was very precise with our expectations and everything was as Advertised. The rustic feel was amazing. We spent much of our time in the hot tub, as it was winter with snow on the ground. We were just about 30 minutes away from Priarie Du Chein and Harper's Ferry and went to the winery. “The Tanager was perfect for two guys on a fishing trip. Close to so many great trout streams, to great food and drink in Viroqua and peaceful.”

“We arrived to a clean and tidy house right on the river! The views are amazing. The location is in walking distance to some fun places as well as outdoor activities. A two minute drive will bring you to McGregor, a town with charming shops and dining options. Cross the bridge over to PDC for even more dining and shopping options. A five minute drive in any direction will bring you to excellent hiking and overlook areas!”

“We came up here to fish for the weekend and this place had all the necessary amenities and served our purpose well. Clean place and well stocked with all the needs. Will stay again. ”
