“The Plas breakfast was one if not the best I have had anywhere, all freshly cooked. Also, plenty of choices to suit everyone. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but one little criticism is that there was no handle to aid getting into the shower/bath. This was mentioned to the receptionist in the morning, she duly made a note of it and would pass it on to the maintenance person. Would recommend the Plas and would go back there. ”

“Tony & Chris are fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful property decorated to a very high standard. The rooms and bathrooms are fantastic. The rooms are large and have a fridge and tea tray in the rooms. The property is in walking distance of the village and Emlyn Hotel where we were attending a wedding. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back k to stay again! ”

“We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. “The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”

“This small pub with 8 rooms for accommodation is an excellent base for a few days to explore some of the many highlights in this area. The pub restaurant offered a good chouce, the pub was convivial. The daily included breakfast was excellent and the server very helpful. Plenty of parking makes for a stress free experience.”

“Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended. We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was scrummy. Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel. Would definitely recommend 😊”
