“Would highly recommend!! The views were absolutely amazing!!!! Very private quiet area! The owners were extremely accomodating with us and our arrival time with such a late flight!!! Everything you need at the house!! Cute town down the road for groceries. Lots of space!! The area was centrally located to so many areas that we wanted to visit for our trip. The hot tub was clean and a huge plus after a long day!! Yard was great for sledding!! The owner added a cute little touch of christmas……

“The House was perfect, it was clean, organized, and slept 11 individuals without issue. Unfortunately we were there on a Snowmobiling trip which meant that with 11 guys we had 3 trucks with enclosed trailers. 2 of the 3 trucks at two differing times were stuck on the ICEY driveway and slid down to the street getting stuck. We ended up parking on the street and walking with gear up the driveway. It took us 2 hours to get them out. The snow plowing / ice maintenance was not conducive to……

“We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin! It was spacious and had everything we needed. We saw a lot of wildlife, it was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen items and we loved having the peloton bike and weights. The location was perfect for us as it was only 5 minutes from the wedding we were attending, and we loved that Steamboat was less than an hour away and we were able to spend an afternoon there. We are already thinking about when we can come back! ”

“The Jewel Box is more than just a ‘cozy cabin’. It is a magical gem tucked away with spectacular views and everything you could possibly want or need for winter vacation. Chanie, was very responsive when needed and made us feel right at home over the Christmas holiday with her furnishings and decor. We would love to return in the fall in full aspen color! ”

“The cabin is wonderful and the location is amazing, however it proved to be a bit challenging for our purposes. We had a group coming up from Denver, and people were arriving at various times on Friday night. Because of forest service regulations, guests are not allowed to drive to the cabin to unload their stuff. They have to park downslope 200 yards and hike up. Wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't have much to carry, but we had heavy things like coolers full of ice and beverages. The cabin……
