“This was the perfect little get-a-way house for our family. It was actually much larger than it appeared in the listing and we were very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it was very clean! We appreciated having the animal crackers to feed the animals that are right in front of the house. Cute as can be!! We also appreciated the suggestions in the information book for places to eat. The Table was great for breakfast. It is a VERY relaxing place! At night, it is so quiet and it gets so……

“We went to spend the weekend and visit our grandkids. The neighborhood is quiet. The house was nice. The description said hot tub and there wasn't one. That was disappointing. But we had a very nice stay. Lots to do close by. Great location. ”

“Very comfortable and quiet property. The fishing pond made the stay even more fun. Remote enough to feel like we were out of town but close enough to find nice meal options.”

“Two of my sisters and I enjoyed a most relaxing and quiet long weekend together. We have Sister Weekends yearly and this was one of the best short term rentals ever. We strolled the quiet neighborhood and explored the old cemetery across the street. We browsed the shops on Hillsboro St. and ate at a few local restaurants. Our host Lindsay was absolutely percent the best. We could not think of one single thing we needed that wasn’t provided. Five stars all the way.”

“The property is beautiful! There was plenty of bed space, and the common areas are spacious and lovely. However, the amenities were sparse - we actually went to a thrift shop and bought more cooking spoons, serving bowls, a ladle, hand towels, etc. to leave on site. There are only two tiny knives, which made meal preparation challenging. We couldn't find a knife block, so we left that need unmet. Aside from that, it was a great site.”
