“Situated at the end of Ocean Point, this house has fantastic views and is so close to the ocean that we could hear the rhythmic sound of the surf all night long. The house is also extremely tastefully designed throughout, making it seem much more like a dream home than a holiday cottage. Overall, it's one of the nicest places we've stayed, and we hope to be able to return for another visit.”

“We had fabulous 4 days in Boothbay , visiting beautiful Penaquid , Southport Island, boat cruise, morning coffee near the water, and delicious food at Waves. Fun to look in different shops too. Bed was comfortable, nice readinbathroom was clean but right in bedroom with curtain but no door. That was a negative. Driveway was very steep for climbing and awkward parking space for unloading which was a challenge for 70 yr olds. Good kitchen area and sunny living room. Rivate and semi detached. ”

“This is a well-stocked and comfy home with a great fire place. Trendy and personal touches everywhere. Roomy and spacious. Comfy beds. Host very communicative. We were in Maine for a funeral, so it was nice to feel like we were coming "home" at the end of a long day.”

“It is a big house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It was very clean when we arrived It is about a half mile walk into Boothbay Harbor by way of the footbridge. There are many restaurants, and shops. You can go out on boat tours from the middle of the town. Our experience was very good and be enjoyed our stay”

“This house has a great location and lovely views on the water, but should not be allowed to be on the rental market in its current condition. It is filthy and dirty full of mildew that will hit you as soon as you enter. We asked to be moved but the nearest option was 2 1/2 hours away which was not acceptable. The house needs a deep cleaning!!! The furniture and flooring were stained, there were dirty cups in the cabinets, cobwebs everywhere and you couldn’t escape the mildew. There were two……

“The cottage was clean and cute. The location was convenient to town but not special. Our only misgiving was difficulty with the entry codes and lock box although the support team remained dedicated to troubleshooting and we ultimately prevailed. I would recommend the property for a short stay by a small group.”
