Holiday Accommodation, Serra da Estrela - Casa Cabeço do Barragão

Rustic stone house, built in 1951, restored in 2010, respecting the original construction, typical eaves.
The house is part of a property with about 9. 000 m2, where organic farming, mainly vineyards and olive groves.
The house consists of two bedrooms (ideal for 4 people), bathroom, a large kitchen and living room with fireplace (the living room has a sofa bed where it is possible to sleep 2 more people). Abroad, ample parking space and leisure.
With a privileged view of the snow of Serra Da Estrela and the cherry blossoms of the Serra da Gardunha.

Great location surrounded by vineyards and views.
Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There was an english manual for the property, it was hidden in a drawer so found that the day before we left. Kitchen is simple, if you like to cook, keep your meals simple. Owner is nice and responsive.

Fijn rustiek huis met uitzicht op de Serra da Estrela
Wij genoten van het verblijf in het rustieke huis. Alles was prima verzorgd, het haardvuur stond al aan bij aankomst.De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat wij nogal lang zijn was het bed voor ons een beetje te kort. Vanaf de veranda is er een mooi uitzicht op de olijfboomgaard en de wijngaard voor het huis. In de omgeving konden we mooi wandelen met onze honden.Fijn dat de honden mee konden op vakantie. In het nabij gelegen dorp is een kleine supermarkt die goede producten verkoopt. Wij hebben een goede herinnering aan dit huis.

J’avais besoin de calme pour me ressourcer: je l’ai eu. J’avais besoin de nature: je l’ai eu. J’avais besoin d’authenticité: la maison fonctionne au solaire et a l’eau du puits: je l’ai eu. Adoramos tudo. A casa muito acolhedora com tudo o que é necessário. A localização 5 estrelas. Os miúdos podem brincar à vontade, correr e estar em contacto com a natureza. Nós adultos sentimos que eles estão em segurança e podemos aproveitar para descansar também sem o stress de andar sempre a ver se eles estão em segurança. Foram 3 dias maravilhosos

Muy recomendable
Hemos estado dos semanas con nuestros dos perros. La casa está muy bien situada y es bastante cómoda, las fotos no le hacen justicia. Para desconectar es ideal. La única pega que nada tiene que ver on la casa en sí, es que al estar rodeada de zonas de cultivo, durante varios días se oían disparos día y noche para ahuyentar a los jabalís. Así que si tenéis perros sensibles a los ruidos tenedlo en cuenta, ya que lo pueden pasar mal como les pasó a los nuestros.

O proprietário foi muito atencioso e guiou-nos com cautela até à quinta onde se encontra a casa. Chegamos já de noite com o objetivo de descansar bem para o dia seguinte, apenas o calor que se fazia sentir dentro da casa dificultou o descanso. Hemos pasado unos días geniales en la casa. Tiene todas las comodidades y es perfecta para ir con niños y mascotas. Al estar aislada hemos podido disfrutad de una paz y tranquilidad increíbles. Por su ubicación, ha sido perfecta para visitar las Aldeias históricas de Portugal y la Serra da Estrela.

Muito bom o local, mas comporta melhor 4 ou 5 pessoas. 6 pessoas é o limite mesmo. O anfitrião foi muito atencioso, mostrando toda a propriedade e nos ensinando a usar a lareira para aquecimento. Excelente local

Ver as estrelas à noite e uma raposa....fantástico! Espaço exterior fantástico. A casa ainda faltam alguns utensílios como torradeira e faca de pão e também não acho que acomode confortavelmente 6 pessoas. Bom para 1 casal com 1 filho. Mais já se torna desconfortável. De resto tudo óptimo! Muito simpático e prestável o Sr. Paulo. Obrigada!
