“We were very happy with the place. It rained 4 out of the 5 days but can only blame mother nature for that. There was no canoe which we had counted on so we could go fishing. We fished off the pier but was not the same. It advertised as having kayaks and a canoe. That was our only disappointment.”

“This is a perfect little cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. My favorite part was sitting at the end of the dock in a lawn chair, sipping coffee and enjoying a pastry while taking in the peaceful views of the lake near the Yellow River. Will be back for another stay later on this year. ”

“We stayed here over memorial weekend and we were the first renters for the house! The house was equipped with everything we needed and nicely decorated. We loved kayaking on the lake, bon fires at night, cards in the screened in porch, grilling on their new grill, star gazing and just enjoyed being away from a busy city with our two dogs. Shannon was very helpful and responsive; we did have an issue with the water heater but being a holiday weekend there wasn’t much Shannon could do, we still……
