“We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water.”

“Thank you for sharing your home with us. This was a great time making memories for my daughter and her bridal party. The local people were super friendly. We enjoyed the big garage area playing games and hanging out. The kitchen and coffee bar were a big hit. Loved that everyone had a little privacy with the bed rooms. And there were plenty of bathroom space for the 10 of us gals. Only thing I would change is the time of year we stayed. All of us wanted to use the rope swing but it was just to……

“A great hostess! Big two-story house on the lake with plenty of room for parking. (Map directions out in advance because cell coverage is weak or nonexistent, but house has wifi.) Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step……

“We wanted to slip away for a brief unwind from work and school. There is a mountain biking destination about 20 minutes away that we wanted to try too. The description is spot on, with the exception of a very big upgrade that surprised us—the bonus room has games, tv, fire place and is in the detached garage!! Very fun for our 8 & 10 year old to have their own space for a bit. Beds are very cozy which is a major need for us. Virtually everything is new throughout. Small tip: Please add a……
