“overall impression of property was excellent. Despite the home being over 60 years old it was obviously upgraded recently. Unlike other places we have stayed the kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc were in good condition. All of the furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the enclosed patio. Our previous month we stayed in a condo where the balcony faced north and we never had sun to sit in outside. This homes backyard faced south with a solid fence so we had sun all day and reduced wind.”

“A quiet peaceful place with all the comforts of home yet close to everything. The beach is very clean and peaceful. A nice place to relax. The host had the condo tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you would need. The garage was a big plus. ”

It was the perfect location to view the morning sunrises over the Atlantic and a short drive to the park for beautiful sunsets from the Halifax River. Very convenient to restaurants and stores. The host, Kari was very prompt about replying to any questions. We already rebooked and can't wait to return ”

“We have been renting for many years and it is the first time we had so many snafus. Unfortunately it was cold when we arrived and the condo termostat was not working so we had no heat. TV and WIFi were also inoperable. The owners did address the problems in a timely way. Then we were without hot water in the master bath for a week. Once again, the owners responded and a plumber did come and fix the problem. Not having a garbage disposal was an inconvenience. On the plus side, the view of the……

“Check in was a breeze. Condo was very clean. View of ocean from patio. Host was quick to respond. Plenty of room with large living room/dining room and master bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with what is required to cook. No negatives. Sandie was great to deal with.”

“Enjoyed our stay! The house had all the amenities you'd expect, and some unexpected ones as well. There's a nice restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner within walking distance (about 1/4 mile). The host helpfully recommended parking in the garage to minimize salt buildup from the beach (which is VERY close to the house). Highly recommended!”
