“Fantastic stay. The view was gorgeous and the staff was so kind. Definitely recommend as it is away from the crowd. The ferries are plentiful if you make sure to time your day well and it’s not too far from the train station. Would highly recommend! ”

“What a AMAZING view! This is not a “fancy” room, and the hotel doesn’t have many amenities (like a pool or gym) that many other restaurants have. But this is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was good size and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was awesome. Amazing view, great food and service with decent prices. The breakfast was 5 star. Same amazing view with a huge selection of great food, juices and coffee drinks! Did I mention the view? No……

“What a lovely stay in Castagnola, near Lugano. We were there as a family -- 2 adults + 2 kids and we had a family suite. It was very clean and comfortable and the hotel staff was very kind and helpful! We only had one night in the area and were happy to find a quite place off the beaten path. Nice restaurant/bar and breakfast in the morning was included, which was fantastic. Access to the Olive Trail leading from Castagnola to Gandria was directly across the street -- it was gorgeous! “We very much enjoyed our brief stay at Villa Clementina Boutique Hotel. Located on the western side of Lake Como approx center of the lake. It was easy to walk to the Colonno port to get to the small boat that connects you to many other towns along Lake Como. Richard our host was most accommodating and super helpful. “Hotel is a bit out of the way but that suited us. Lovely hotel and friendly staff but not much English spoken. Main issue was the Air Conditioning, or lack of it. They do have in all the rooms but when i asked how to work it they said it is not turned on yet as is not the season! Our room was really hot. We opening the balcony door but as it is on a very busy road the noise was too loud. Such a shame. ”

The hotel is perfectly situated between Lenno and Tremezzo ferry stops and has a pizza takeaway, restaurant and a convenience shop within a 5 min walk- in addition to the on site restaurant and bar.
