This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. The rooms are roomy, well decorated as you see in the pictures, and very comfortable. There is a chocolate and ice cream shop next door. “My wife and I booked this cottage for a 3 day getaway. The host was a great communicator and was willing to help us with any information we needed. The cottage is in a great location. Real close to Lake Michigan with a view of Portage Lake. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The only negative is the shower is very small and hard to move around in. Overall an extremely positive experience and I would definitely stay again. ”
