“Truly river-front, without trains between the cabin and the river...not usual for Mississippi River rentals. Super-clean and incredibly well-furnished and set up! Best bed we ever slept on. Cabin comes with a canoe and virtually anything your heart desires. Easy bicycle-proximity to Trempealeau center, Perrot State Park, the marsh trails, and Trempealeau 'lakes' for great kayaking. Cat Daddy's bar and grill is next door, but we found the proximity just fine...cabin windows close-to-soundproof if……

“The cabin was very well stocked. When we do VRBOs we have a plastic tub that we take with us with things that are often not supplied. I don't think we even open the tub while at River Den. We thoroughly enjoyed the screen porch, even though the beginning of the week was cold and wet. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated all the extra throw blankets available. We enjoyed a drive along the Apple Blossom Scenic drive and headed into La Crescent to eat a couple times. But overall, it was a……

“Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.”
