“Had a quick, two night stay to relax, laugh, rest, laugh, puzzle, laugh, play... did i mention laugh? We ate, visited and just hung out together. The cabin was perfect for what we needed!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ll find it here. Our favorite part was sitting on deck chairs in front of the cabin and listening to the birds singing and the clip-clopping of the horse-drawn Amish buggies passing by. We also enjoyed going to some of the Amish stores and businesses, and hiking around the lake at Sidie Hollow County Park.”

“The home was very comfortable inside and out. It was evident that a lot of thought went into the recent remodeling effort. There were many nice design elements which made our stay very enjoyable.Everything that we needed was there, both indoor and outdoor. We walked in and immediately felt at home.We enjoyed the deck, grill, and especially the fire pit.The property is not as secluded as had wished. We highly recommend booking this property.”

“Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.”

We hope to come back when life allows because we didn't get to enjoy everything that was offered!! Amazing place & great communication from the host! ”

“Stayed here to go fishing on the river for a few days, it was nice being able to walk down to our boat and not have to launch it every day. The Bar right next door also said we could tie our boat onto their dock if we wanted. Only downsides are the bar restaurantcan be loud at night since its so close to it, also the train going by accross the river wakes you up every hour with its loud horn but thats pretty much everywhere in trempealeau id guess, ”

“The cabin is in a great location right across the road from the Timber Coulee. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights in April. The view out the front windows, in the morning, goes well with morning coffee. If the weather had been warmer, we would have spent the evenings on the front deck.We will return. ”

“Weather was better than good for autumn in Minnesota, lots of trails to walk, only disappointment was the main reason we went down, to check out the Maritime Art Museum, not impressed.”
