This property was perfect for our group, lovely layout and the view of the lake was perfect.The hosts were very accommodating, The transaction was very smooth with no problems.”

“The check-in was beyond easy, and everything about the place was more than we expected. The little things, like extra blankets and kitchen necessities, were great! Communication with the owner was incredibly fast and professional. The location was great for what we needed to get to, and there were many amenities nearby for food options too. ”

“This property was so beautiful! Everyone in my family enjoyed this place so much. I picked this for my husbands birthday surprise and he loved every minute of it. The Host was super nice and super helpful with everything. Overall 10/10 stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be booking here again!”

“House is spacious and supplies adequate. Just bring your own towels and linens as earlier advised by owner Water supply, hot and cold, is abundant for 12 people. Parking for 5 cars, no problem. Things that can easily be added to make the property more user friendly: 1) Grab bars in bath tubs to prevent accidents. We had two slips and had to grab the shower curtain and avoided a bad fall. 2) Electric fan in each room to address the warm nights of summer. Bought our own fans ar Port Perry……

“This property was perfect for our ladies weekend getaway in Port Hope. Immaculate and tastefully decorated with lots of room inside and out for the seven of us. We enjoyed being able to walk to the waterfront trail and enjoy the beach. We plan to rent again and would highly recommend this gem.”

“Clean, roomy, convenient to shopping and restaurants, nice gas fireplace, responsive host but terrible mattresses, not enough towels, no coffee, need coat hooks and to fix the door blind (a window film would do).”

“The access to the property was poor. No communication was sent with access information.I had to initiate how to gain access. Had to wait 2 hrs to get in. There were no bathroom towels. We were 4 guest. No extra blankets. Dirty cleaning supplies were not put away. Obviously not clean.”

“The cottage was very nice and fully stocked. It was perfect with young kids. The outside lawn between the 2 large maples is where we spent so much of our time playing games and running around. It has everything you need to make for a perfect stay. The addition of linens and towels were so convenient. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“We stayed here for a weekend for our annual sisters trip. The booking was smooth, instructions were clear, and the cottage had everything we needed. Since it was February, we appreciated all of the cozy blankets and pillows for our use. You can tell that the Bickle sisters put a lot of effort into making sure you have a fantastic experience.”

Very good experiences

"Hi, I'm satisfied my stay and all your attitude. I can feel the staff very welcome us. I will absolutely rate 9 due to very good experience from the staff. A male staff help me to register membership , I stays over 30 days Holiday inn in the pass few year in different country. No staff proactive help me register. And the female staff asked me again when I check out. And she also asked me how to improve. Although the room is not perfect, and somethings need to improve. She really mark it down on the paper. Water pressure is not high enough. Shower Water is not warm enough. Door cannot lock automatically after you close the door. Lotion in washroom look like mixed with water. No matter it can improve or not. They try their best. The breakfast is good! Machine making pancake, fast, clean, fresh. And also my fast time to see cooked Quaker oatmeal. I like it. Much better than the instant one. Appreciated for all your effort. We are very happy to stay here and will come back again. "
