“Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. ”

“This is the most quaint place I’ve ever stayed. After talking to the owner, this used to be an old courthouse. many years ago. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for old world charm, and to find a piece of history in the Wrexham area. The people the service and the food are top-notch. Highly recommend.”
“Hotel and staff were lovely. Only issue was I had to get something from car which was in carpark to rear of property. It was after 10 and manager had to unlock rear door for me. However beer garden and steps etc to rear had no lighting. It was very dark and I actually tripped over steps up to bridge cutting and badly bruising by hand and knees. There really should be some lighting for access to car park when dark.”

We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house.
Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”
