“We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. Our room was in the main building and an 'old' room as we had to duck down when entering BUT there was a sign to watch your head AND the room was excellent, very clean and all the makings for tea/coffee and……

“Food was excellent. Room was very comfortable. My usual bugbear is staffing and service but at this hotel I'd say 100 percent is selling them short . Could not ask for better service particularly in the savvy fox restaurant. Will definitely be staying here again. Only downside was we were only staying 1 night. Well done. ”
