“Staff very helpful, food good , pool and sauna good.Only small problem the wall the beds are up against is backing on to the next room's television and the walls don't seem to be very thick hence trying to sleep was a slight pain!”

“We stayed for 4 nights at the Black Lion. The room was spacious and comfortable. If you wanted every day cleaning, then you would probably have to ask. For us, we found that ok. It is a very busy place and popular. The bed was comfortable. The shower is in the bath, which for me was a bit awkward, as I am in my 80s. The food was really good, breakfast and evening meals really tasty and filling. The hosts and all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Absolutely recommended. ”
