“This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this……

Food was very good and varied.The only criticism was that the main lift was out of order whilst we were there so had to use the smaller lift which often made it a longer wait to get to our room. “Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch.”

“This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time. It was spotless really comfortable we had a massive bed and the view from our window was fantastic. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a fan and binoculars. The bathroom had shower gel,shampoo,conditioner ,soap,hand and body lotion and flannels. They have continental breakfast or freshesly cooked breakfast. The staff Hayley, Callum.and Chris were very friendly and helpful thank you. We can't wait yo ho……
