Only downfall when we were there was the construction drilling . But management was graciously offering refunds to those affected . “Just returned from a wonderful week at Fort Recovery Beachfront Villas … This property is located on the quiet side of Tortola with spectacular views of St John. Ourwas spotless, comfortable, and steps from the beach. The grounds and pool were clean and clear despite some very windy conditions. “The unit is well furnished. Daily housekeeping was a huge plus. Loved sitting on the patio with our morning coffee or watching sunset looking at St. John and the catamarans sailing by. A/C in bedroom cooled it very quickly. I can not say enough about Justin, the host. He could not have been more friendly. He was extremely quick to respond to questions. “We booked our 3bed 3 bath waterfront villa for only one night as we were in the BVI for a 5 day sailing charter which departed the following day. The owner met us in the parking lot to make sure we could find the unit and answer any questions. That doesn’t happen every day. The place had three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the beds were all king sized. It was spacious and perfect for our party of 3 couples. The AC worked great, and the place was spotless.
