“Cozy cottage in the 'backyard' area of owner's house, with private entrance. Convenient location closeto train station (we stayed relying on public transport and uber, and it worked!). Jacques was very attentive and great host. Thank you for the pleasant stay.”

“The house and view of the the lake where beautiful, we went in early spring. There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. “This is such a cute little spot! It is a couple of miles outside the center of town. There is a pizza restaurant and breakfast spot within 50 yards. The hosts were fantastic with communicating in advance of my arrival. ”

“The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. ”

“Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. ”

Unfortunately we didn’t spend any time down there. The rest of the property was wonderful and spotless! Beds were comfortable.”

(some of us) bake cookies for dessert while also repairing dinner and a different oven. Although I don’t need them as an older adult I noticed and appreciated the number of Grab bars and safety features in beautiful master bathroom. was quiet and roomy and we pulled the couches up to the fireplace.
