“We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. “Beautiful property exactly as described. Very clean, upgraded baths. There were six adults and we all slept very comfortably. Very responsive host that left fresh apple cider donuts that were delicious. Coffee and tea offerings were excellent. Couple farmhouse cats stopped for a visit which was adorable. Definitely stay here again when we return to the area. ”

“The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all. “The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. We had no problem with making our meals, as the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Our dog was very comfortable and surprised by a visit from some Guinea hens in the morning.
