“The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!”

“L'emplacement était idéal car je visitais Thiron-Gardais pour le collège Royal et militaire, à deux pas. Le personnel est adorable, très accueillant. Le restaurant est exceptionnel. Cuisine créative, notamment le foie gras en entrée, suggestion de vin interessante, bref à refaire sans hésitation. La chambre était très correcte, de décor un peu simple. Par contre, la salle de bain, visiblement nouvellement rénovée, était parfaite. Lieu hautement recommandé.”

“This little gem is amazing! We booked it for a last minute stay when we found ourselves in the area and it was getting late and we were tired of driving. What a pleasant surprise! “My fiancee and I only stayed one night at Chateau de La Riviere, and I wish we had stayed longer. Communications with Alice, one of our hosts, were clear and easy. Upon arrival, we were told that we were the only ones staying that night! This made it feel like a fairy tale - a chateau all to ourselves!
