The owners knowledge on the surrounding area is exceedingly good also, we ended up in saturday going to the local distillery, whitchford pottery barn and rollright stoens which they siggested to us

“I had a wonderful stay! The room is wonderfully appointed, quite large and very cozy. I was thrilled at seeing it. I'm still thinking about the amazing claw foot tub! “本來選擇這住宿的原因就因為Banbury很近Oxford，火車班次都繁多的，但原來Banbury都有很多商店的~!
說回住宿方面，外表是一間古老大屋，很大很大的，裡面裝修陳設都是很古典的，房間也是，酒店下的花園很大很美，餐廳也很高雅，床子舒適的，職員友善的。
最欣賞的是大堂有一份介紹這酒店大屋的歷史介紹，簡單的告訴我地這“鬼屋”的歷史，有趣有趣~!
可是，奇怪的是酒店提供的洗澡用品都是很難洗乾淨，怎麼洗也是滑滑的，洗不乾淨…”

“I stayed at The George Townhouse as I was attending a wedding at nearby Blackwell Grange.
The hotel understood about the wedding timings and facilitated a smooth check in process. My room was superb with a good sized bed and beautiful roll top bath.
What made my stay was the service of the staff and how they went out of their way to accommodate any needs I had. Service was good for breakfast and check out was easy.

“Comfortable & Clean, slightly cold upon arrival but a few mins with the heater on resolved that, in general it was great value for money with Donkey picture on the wall (I donate monthly to the donkey sanctuary) & heilan coo’s in the bathroom (I’m also Scottish) only negative was the sound proofing from neighbouring rooms, the snoring !!!
