“Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome……

“Great room and very comfortable with all you need. Only thing, shower need looking at, very little water power! The staff and service in the bar, restaurant and for breakfast was excellent. Nice mrenu and stayed here few times abd ss ever the food is fantastic.”

“Second time we have stayed at The Plume travelling to/from Cornwall. It is a lovely, comfortable & homely hotel. However, the absolute bonus is their restaurant, the food (small plates/tapas) is excellent, as are the cocktails and wine list. It’s a shame it is not near our home as we would be very regular visitors!”

“The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.”
