What a beautiful place in a beautiful home in a beautiful town with a gracious and responsive host. The house is a short (7 or 10 min) walk from downtown Shelburne Falls where there are numerous diners, cafes, restaurants and shops. I’m a cyclist and there were amazing rides immediately accessible right out the front door - I did 25 to 35 mile rides each day, road and mixed/gravel……

“Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. “Beautiful property. Very clean and well appointed. House had Everything we needed and plenty of blankets. Host was very responsive and helpful.I Would definitely stay again. Thank you! ”

“The description of this property is spot on. It is stunningly gorgeous and we never tired of being on the patio, in the grass or exploring the many rooms of this authentic farmhouse. We loved how the original details are preserved, while having updated bathrooms and appliances. We had a group of 8-10 family/friends per night and then a family party with 20 people on the patio. The kitchen/sunroom/deck/patio made for easy circulating and serving food. Evenings on the patio with the party……

“It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host!”

“If I could give this a 10 star rating I would. The property is on a pond with screened in porch. 5 cozy bedrooms with lots of extras to enjoy. My family had a wonderful visit enjoying the outdoors and inside activities. The kitchen is small but well furnished. The owners were wonderful to work with. Friendly and professional. “We had an absolutely lovely time staying at this property! It’s an adorable antique home that has been beautifully renovated while still keeping its historic charm. It was very clean and was wonderfully set up for 2 couples and 5 children of varying ages. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day of skiing at Berkshire East (about 15 minutes away)!
