“We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint and luxurious bed-and-breakfast. There were comfortable common areas to enjoy along with the complete privacy of your own room complete with coffee, tea, and a personal sized refrigerator. The hostess had the option to take breakfast to go with many drink and food items to choose from. She even accommodated our dietary and allergy restrictions. We thought the breakfast sliders were amazing!”

“Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. They use StarLink WiFi so no problems with connectivity. Linda's attitude made the visit in……

“I stayed at this place because it was one of the few places still available in the area. I completely lucked out and had the most amazing experience. Not only was everything cozy and clean but we had almost hte entire upstairs to ourself. We had a spacious bathroom with a tub to definitely write home about, a kitchenette area, a common room, and the bedroom. I definitely got my money's worth and more!”

“People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. ”

“The rooms at this place are all very different so it would pay to look first and see which one you are getting bc there are some REALLY cluttered ones (as were ours) and then some others that were super streamlined and nicer! In addition, it was interesting that for a place from which many are traveling, breakfast was not available until 9 am! Although the innkeeper did accomadate us by providing to go breakfasts, I just thought it was a little odd! ”
