“My boyfriend and i had a very nice stay here at Turtle Tides ! although we stayed out of season, the property was clean and gorgeous and the views from the deck did not disappoint ! we had a little trouble getting in and Gene was very attentive and took the time to talk us through getting in quickly and kindly. Gene’s wife also made us some beautiful glasses to remember our stay! Overall 10/10, we’ll be booking again ! ”

“Our family of six (6) really enjoyed ourselves in Colington Harbour at this lovely beach front property. It was clean & well-maintained. We were three (3) couples (brothers & their wives) that got together for the weekend for fun, fishing & driving on beach. We literally just walked out the back door to the water. Everything you wished for was within a mile or so...great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Wright Brothers Musuem was well worth the visit & that too was about 5 miles away. The……

“The house was very nice and equipped with most everything we needed. Although we didn't do any cooking there are plenty of cookware and utensils. The rooms were very clean. It was perfect for a couple to get away and enjoy the serenity. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes driving (and we ate at a different one most every day). There's a public beach entrance about 3 or 4 blocks away. We would stay here again if we came back to Nags Head. ”

So after my 7hr drive I got to deal with providing proof of my booking with the police and handing over ALL of my personal information. House is labeled as pet friendly, however, if you use the front door, the backyard, or really anything outside you will be barked at Constantly by the downstairs tenants dog while it snaps at the doors. 1.5in cockroach in the living room.
