“This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves……

Just two things we’d recommend to the host: First: The linens were clean, just unfortunate material and colors. White is always best, that way nobody can question cleanliness. “This is a very cute house that is close to everything, but still gives you the feeling of being out of the hustle and bustle. Great porch with chairs and rocking chairs for families to sit out and talk and laugh. Very clean house with all the amenities you'd need plus the small things that you may habe forgotten to pack, to use. We had 4 adults and 3 kids stay and the house was plenty big for us. The grounds were perfect to play around and walk on some small trails. The communication was always……

“We really enjoyed our stay here. When we first walked in we thought it was really small, but once we got settled in, it was the perfect size. It was myself, my husband, and my 8 year old. She loved having her own room instead of a fold out couch. The location was awesome. Super close to Mount Rushmore. There is also the 1880 train from Keystone to Hill City right up the road that we did. The track actually runs right behind the property, so we could have seen it go by if we had been there……

“The cabin was fully equipped. It had everything. It was clean and very cozy. We visited all the attractions that were there. We saw tons of wildlife. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back some time. We really enjoyed our stay. ”
