“We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. ”

“This was our second stay at this home mostly do to the fact its close to other family, accepts pets, and has a private larger yard. We also like the old historical nature of the home. I mentioned on my previous review of the home needing some TLC. The home is still the same, no fixes that we can see from two years ago. Some things inside need fixing, but mostly the exterior wood trim,porches, and landscaping. I find it sad to see this Historical home roting away. There is so much potential. I……

“This was a perfect alternative to my family of 5 cramming into 2 hotel rooms for the weekend. House was nice, clean and modern.”

“We stayed here for a family funeral in Gallipolis and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house is clean, well-kept, and overlooks beautiful Raccoon Creek. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to cook in. Two main-floor bedrooms were great for those who can’t do stairs, and there were plenty of linens. “Overall, the house is nice, though aged. It was very clean, so that was nice. The listing said it had 2 full and 2 half baths, but it only had 2 full. That was disappointing. The beds were decent, but that's the smallest queen my husband and I have ever shared. Not bad, but not excellent. ”

“The home is lovely inside and is just feet from a grocery store and gas station. The host was responsive when messaged. Be sure to look at the check-in instructions versus Google Maps for the specific house number. Google Maps will get you to the street, but not thw specific townhouse.”

“This is such a cool place! Gave us a really relaxing place to stay in between our adventures of exploring Gallipolis and surrounding area. Point Pleasant, Mothman, the location is very convenient for exploring these things. And the decor is absolutely charming!”
