“We stayed here while attending a family event. I had no idea such a peaceful spot existed in this busy area! Katy was so helpful-even heating up the hot tub so it woud be lovely when we returned from dinner. The listing and directions was spot on. It was really helpful to know that the 2nd time is the charm in putting in the door code! We will definately stay there again.”

“All went well, check in was easy and space was clean and cozy. Great communication with the owner. Loved that our 18 year old had his own space at night with the extra room. Nice big and fully stocked kitchen since we cook all our own meals. The living room space was comfortable for all of us to just hang out. The view with the large windows was pretty and relaxing. Great find!!!”

“The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house.”

“First and foremost, the space has some maintenance issues. The door to the patio does NOT lock, which is unacceptable. I notified the owner and they did nothing. The bedsheets in the loft smelled really bad. Half of the towels were stained or torn or both, to the point we had to wash them at 11pm (thank goodness for the washer/dryer) because we didn't even want to dry our hands on them. “The location was perfect for walking to the Metro and places to eat. It felt very safe, even walking at night. We enjoyed being so close to the Washington and Old Dominion Trail and rented bikes from a nearby Capital Bikeshare station to explore. One thing that was confusing is the check in—you need to fill out a form online with your personal details before check in. Upon arrival, press “Leasing Office” on the door pad to call the front desk to be let in. We arrived at night and were confused……
