“Positives: Instructions for check in were clear and easy to understand, cleanliness was good. Beds were comfortable. Location was good and close to stores/coffee. Neighborhood was super quiet at night. Not positive: we received explicit reminders that we had to make sure to pull the trash/recycling to the curb on separate days, the contents of the bins were mixed trash and recycling, yet both bins were labeled “recycling”. The water pressure in the showers was poor. There were hand soap……

“Very clean and updated house in a very convenient location. Nice neighborhood but close to highways and conveniences. Would be nice to have dressers or luggage stands in bedrooms. Beds seem to be listed in “European sizing”, meaning their “King” bed was what is called a Queen in US and their Queens are really full or doubles. But, beds were comfortable and area is quiet. Downstairs “suite” with bedrooms, bath and living room was great for our daughter, son-in-law and their 2 year old. Nice……

“Our family stayed here for a graduation trip. It exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for everyone and the property was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all cooking amenities we needed. The washer and dryer were also very helpful for our group. Not familiar with the area, we weren’t sure what to expect. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Close proximity to everything we needed. Thank you! ”

“The property is quite lovely, surrounded by the rolling hills of western Virginia. The house was perfect, a lot of space to spread out if needed. We spent our evenings on the screened in back porch. The pool and gardens were an added bonus. Every evening the neighbor cows would graze along the fence line- just a lovely get away from the City! ”

“The house was perfect for our crew of 7 children to unwind after a long day of walking in DC. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Open living space. Very accomodating host with fast responses. Much appreciated the home and checkin/out wasy process.”

“The location was very quiet and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The place was clean and well equipped. The only issues were the sofa was broken or becoming unstable, the washer was leaking and very loud when running, and the door to the downstairs bedroom was broken. However, the property owner was quick to respond about the issues and our stay was unhindered by these issues. Just in case it is an issue for future guests, I will add that the downstairs bedroom doesn't have a TV. All other……

“My multigenerational family of 11 had a wonderful stay at this spacious, immaculate and well appointed house. The common area was even larger that it appears in the photos and there was an additional downstairs playroom that the kids really enjoyed. Also, the host went above and beyond to help us when a smoke alarm battery caused beeping late one evening. There was not even a hint of any odor as mentioned in a previous review. ”

“The stay was great. Property was great and pretty much as stated on the site. The only drawback for us was the stairs. 3 floors. Lots of stairs. But the townhome was exactly what we needed. Overall, a good place for us to stay. ”

“The property was great. The kids liked it and it was actually more than what our group of five needed with 4 beds and 3.5 bathrooms; we actually didn't use the downstairs bed. A couple minor maintenance fixes would have made this perfect. The communication from the owner was impressive too.”
