“We enjoyed what we started calling ‘the treehouse’. The unique architecture and the setting on a hill in the trees was a welcome retreat from busy NOVA. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We were thankful to be able to bring our pup along and he explored the yard while we picked raspberries and appreciated the multiple outdoor spaces. The house was tastefully decorated and accommodated our party of four quite nicely. The location near town was wonderful for exploring the many……

“Great house and backyard and pool are even prettier in person. Host was super communicative. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night and that it wasn't as chilly at night, note the pool is not heated. Definitely recommend.”

“During sweltering days in DC, we enjoyed serenity in the shade of Little Oatlands. Mornings enjoying coffee on the porch were one of our favorite moments as well as an afternoon swim. It was our second visit to this historic property and the magnificence of the surrounding land is truly unparalleled in this day and time. Prepare to wander.”

“Our stay here was perfect. The house is so charming and the location is great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My dogs loved the fenced in backyard. Check in was easy and communication with the host was very pleasant. I cannot recommend this house enough. ”

“The stay was good. Close to the Amtrak auto train station. Close to a lot of places we wanted to visit.”

The house was easy to get to; close to grocery stores; has off-street parking; patio and deck available; comfortable beds; enough space for gathering to eat and watch a movie after a few long days on our feet. I would stay here again!”

“The house had enough rooms and bathrooms for 15 people so it was great benefit for us since it saved us lot of time in the morning and we could get out before time for activities. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils. The property manager responded really quick with any queries we had.”
