“We had such a wonderful stay at this property, The Lazy Oyster. Our host made check-in a breeze and answered all of my questions ahead of time. The house was perfectly clean and decorated very tastefully. We had everything that we could need from good quality towels and sheets, to detergent, dish soap, tp, spices, games, puzzles and appliances. The view from the sunroom is fantastic and our teenage sons loved fishing and crabbing from the dock. We also did a lot of kayaking and enjoyed the hot……

“We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!”

“My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. “We loved our stay at Heron's Hideaway. The house was immaculately clean. The host provided lots of accommodations - plenty of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, pool towels, etc. Kim was great to work with and responded to all of our communication immediately. The house is a perfect spot to camp out and relax. We visited a couple small beaches within an hour of the house, and Williamsburg but could easily see staying at the house the whole time between the pool, dock, and kayaks. ”

“Pictures and description don’t do the views enough justice. Having the Bay in front and the pond/inlet behind you allowed you access to whatever kind of water day you wanted. Neighbors were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking out back, and the multitude of searing options/fire pits to enjoy the view. Would love to stay again!”
