It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet there was so much to do—fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, ping-pong, darts, board games, the list goes on. Everyone had a fantastic time. The only problem is that were only there for three nights!”

“We booked this bayside property for a short family vacation and the house and amenities were exactly what we needed during our time at Hays Beach. There were ample bedrooms and spaces for all of us to relax, the kitchen was well appointed. The beach in front of the house was perfect for our grandson to play in a small pool while the others lounged in chairs or were in the water directly in front of the house. “It was the perfect location for a relaxing long weekend. The place is very nice, very clean, perfect for a couple, with a beautiful view on the river and beautiful sunsets. The screened in porch is great and we got to see bald eagles from the backyard. We will definitely come back off season for another quiet stay. ”

“This was a great place for a December get-away. The location was lovely, and well stocked, with a full kitchen for those who like to cook, herbs, spices, condiments, cleaning supplies, fluffy bathrobes, q-tips, laundry detergent, etc. We needed to communicate wtih the owners a few times, and they were a pleasure to talk to. We decided to spend a little more on our get-away, and it was totally worth it. ”

“The home and location are very nice and as described. The reason I am ranking only 3-stars is because the house was very hot when we arrived. We turned the AC to 71 degrees, yet the WYZE thermostat kept remotely changing to 79 degrees. It was about 95 degrees outside, so we couldn’t find any relief from the heat. I contacted the owner a couple of times about the temp changing and was told “Sorry! We’re out of town”. Ultimately, the thermostat shut off completely. We tried to turn it back on with……
