“Nice little house if you are looking for an escape from the day-to-day bustle. Ideal if you want to hang out and read. Basic accommodations in a rural neighborhood. Not much to do in town, accept visit the lighthouse. Bay access is not far on foot if you want to launch a canoe or kayak. Our only gripe was that AC is listed as an amenity but there were no AC units. Maybe they are available in the summer, but it was hot for half of our trip (mid April) and we could have used AC. “It was only one bedroom since I travel with my daughter and out dogs , small bathroom the toilet did not flush properly it’s had to flush a few times! The bathroom floor was not done properly and flaking paint by the toilet ”

“Pictures and description don’t do the views enough justice. Having the Bay in front and the pond/inlet behind you allowed you access to whatever kind of water day you wanted. Neighbors were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking out back, and the multitude of searing options/fire pits to enjoy the view. Would love to stay again!”

“This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. The hosts are wonderful people, always kind and patient, and gave great recommendations on shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. They were very communicative and answered all my……

“Everything associated with our stay was superior. The cleanliness, the arrangements inside the home, the view, the varied wildlife we saw, the local trips we took, the day cruise to Tangier Island, and most importantly, the personal care that the host took to welcome us to celebrate my 80th birthday.
