“We had a wonderful and calm two nights. My husband and I were so relaxed. The home is in a great woodland setting with privacy. The pond could be viewed just outside the front door. The home's landscaping enhanced the site. The dock area is attractive. We had planned to use the kayaks but it was a little too chilly. Three bathrooms - no waiting! The king suite upstairs is huge. “There are so many wonderful things to say about this beautifully maintained property. The positives were 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators (one by the pool), ice machine, lots of seating on outside porches, large pier w/motorized lift platform to get in and out of the water, luckily a backup generator (we had a bad storm while we were there), pool is shallow and great for water walking, beautiful views from the inside and outside, great crab traps, very safe fire pit, most well equipped……

“We were booked to go to OBX, but the snowstorm changed that...so plan B! Plan B was a fantastic choice...great place to chill out, drink wine, dance and relax by the bonfire! “Very interesting home with a lot of family history. Piano. Guitar. Amazing dining room table. Wonderful upstairs suite with other bedrooms two floors away so lots of privacy. Kitchen looked well stocked although we ate all our meals at a relative’s home. I didn’t cook at all. Beach is lovely!”

My family and I had space and didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The beach area was so peaceful and just what the soul needed. Just an amazing place.”

“We knew that April would be an iffy monlh to rent, but the weather did cooperate. The water was too cold and it was extremely windy but we did get to sit on the beach one day, fly kites and play in the sand on other days. Beautiful view, beautiful home. Lots of toys/books for our 4 grandchildren to play with. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen provided lots of room for all of us.”
