“A great weekend in a great setting. The place was cute and bright, in a quiet neighborhood, and right on the water. We caught & steamed crabs, we sat out on the deck and watched the water, we cooked dinner, saw shooting stars from the hot tub. Kitchen very well stocked with good tools. Dedicated easy parking. Dog loved it. Neighbors were quiet, and also out catching crabs like us. Bald eagles flying around. Plenty of towels. In terms of location, it's an hour from Washington's birthplace, Pope's……

“We had a great week on the river thanks to our fantastic host, Clint. Cottage is a wonderfully thoughtful renovation, set up for lots of fun activities inside and out. Plenty of beds and all the amenities with a superb dock and nice water access. We grilled, baked, caught lots of rays and even a few fish and crabs off the dock. Fun family activities close by, too. Highly recommend!”

Perfect for us since we love visiting Kilmarnock, Irvington and White Stone restaurants etc. Nice set up...extremely quiet and right on the water. Comfortable furniture, linens, w and the interior is so welcoming and beautifully done...the total package!”
