“Absolutely adorable little cabin nestled directly on the waters edge. A minutes walk from the boat ramp and dock. Very homey feeling, nothing fancy, but more than enough to enjoy a weekend away with the family. It’s close to Shakertown village, and only 45 minutes from Lexington. We spent two nights in “big cabin” the kids loved it. Good WiFi connection, YouTube, and Netflix available. The owner was available and friendly. Several small hole in the wall restaurants close by and of course there……

“We came in for the Brassband Festival and stayed at the cozy property. In the mornings it was serene and comfortable over looking the lake. The road in and out was a little stressful due to the narrowness of it, but we would stay here again when we come back to the area. ”

“Recently returned from a week's stay: 2 couples, 1 single, and the younger couple's kids (6mo, 9, 12, 15yo) - extended family. The layout of the house was perfect for us, with all BRs & 2 of the full BAs on upper floor, a roomy, well-lit, & sensibly designed (& well-equipped!) kitchen that easily enabled 2 or more of us to be working on meal prep @ same time without tripping over each other, and plenty of dining areas - the main table was large enough to fit us all, so we kept a jigsaw puzzle……

“Did not receive check in instructions, door code, WiFi code. Property owner arrived at property to let me in after an hour. House and bed was nice. I think the listing need to be updated to reflect that different rooms of the house are being rented by different parties. A party arrived after me and began accusing me of using the house they believed they rented the entire thing. Also there is no laundry machines available. They are present, but in a locked area of the house. Overall, I needed a……

“Came into town for a concert in Lexington and to explore some spots along the bourbon trail. The house was great clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would use this house again for future visits. Owner was easy to contact and house had everything you need. ”
