The location was great and was easy to walk to shops and the one restaurant that was open this time of year. The beds were firm but comfortable and I slept great! The one bathroom was a little tough but we knew that ahead of time so it was ok! It was a nice touch to have body wash, shampoo, dish soap, paper towels, food seasonings, etc supplied. “We stayed for a week and enjkyed it. Comfortable home, on a nice quiet spot. Furniture and appliances were great and comfortable.”

“We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.”

“Went with 6 adults and 6 children. Each couple had their own room with private bathroom. The cousins all slept in the same room together, with bunk beds and their own bathroom. The family room was spacious and the basement offers a place for kids to go and play, giving the adults a chance to relax on their own.
