“My husband and his work colleague stayed at the house twice while working at Blue Oval City. The house is conveniently located 10 minutes or less from Blue Oval City and cheaper than a hotel with all the amenities of a home. The home is dated but super clean. Owner was easy to work with and responded promptly to questions.”

“While it was as described the property I would not stay here again. It was not worth what I paid (highest cleaning fee I've ever paid) when I could have stayed at budget hotel down the road and got the same if not better.”

“I’m so glad I stumbled upon the Shaw’s and took a chance on this rental. It was perfect for my family while visiting for a wedding. The area was beautiful, tranquil, and safe. The house was charming, cozy, comfortable, and fun. And the hospitality of the host, Linda, was unmatched. She was responsive and kind and she went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Thank you again Linda! ”

“In town to visit my daughter and grandsons. Lovely house definitely unique area.Pros: private , yard and property is spacious , host communication is excellent. Cons: No closet space , no place to hang your clothes. Bugs coming through the vents through out the house. Not sure what I can say about the old head stone we found behind the shed. If you are going outside at night watch for critters and falling tree branches.”

“We have family in the area and traveled to visit before our newest addition arrives. The house has a lovely quiet location but is still close to everything. We had plenty of space to relax during down time, but still spend time together as a family when we weren’t out and about. We had everything we needed to make breakfast for our family (pot, pans, seasonings, utensils.) We always grab groceries before a stay to save money on eating out. The showers were amazing with the perfect water pressure……
