“We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. ”

“Beautiful property with easy access to trails at the national park. The hot tub was perfect and the property was very clean and well appointed. The only thing i could suggest is covering the firewood. We were looking forward to the firepit, but it rained the night we arrived and we couldn't use the wood for the rest of the trip. But that was a very minor inconvenience and there was plenty to do outside of having a campfire. Would recommend to family and would stay again!”

“This place is an absolute gem (and the hosts are wonderful). Extremely clean and well-kept. The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of cookware and bakeware (we even found a Belgian waffle maker), all in great condition. Beds are very comfortable (not too firm, not too soft) with soft linens. The owners really care for the property. Hosts were super responsive before and after. “Very peaceful cabin immersed in nature, we had a great time. Was well stocked with firewood other essentials, which was nice. The AC did its job and kept the cabin comfortable inside during days with very high heat and humidity. Beautiful landscape lighting and retaining walls. Absolutely lovely during a rainstorm. Would recommend addressing a few minor items:‐the ramp at the top of the steps (by the screened porch) is incredibly slippery when wet, would recommend putting down some friction……
