“Stikliai have always been a signature Vilnius’s hotel so we had very high expectations for this 5* place. And its still has a very lovely lobby and restaurant as well as location is amazing for tourists. However, everything else was disappointing. First of all, reception staff was average. They did not provide us any information at all, neither about food, wifi, other available services. The only fact they cared about is to make us wait for extra 40 minutes as our room was not ready and they……

“The Joseph is a gem. The proprietor is very personable. Rooms are modern with up to date. The location of the Joseph is right on the river on the border between the central business district and the "touristic" area, making it absolutely walkable to all parts of town. Wonderful place to stay!”

“For the service highlight: The tall, thin man, who helped us with our luggage, always with big smiles on his face and greeted guests when they were back hotel. And after we called for room air problems, he came to see the air conditioner thing and helped us to change a room with window. Special thanks to him! “Most importantly the apartment is situated in the middle of the Old Town surrounded by lots of restaurants and the Iki supermarket is just across the road. On arrival at the gate I was informed that entry was gained by pressing a button inside the gate, no button was obvious as it was behind the lock, I eventually worked it out. There is a severe unmarked trip hazard when entering through the gate. On entering the apartment it was clean but only one of the two beds were made up and the dishwater……

“There are shops around the hotel, not too noise But you get what you need. The room is clear and new. The staffs are kind and really willing to help. Although there is no elevator but only 2 floor up from the ground to the reception. Many of the sight seeing places are walking distance. Highly recommended! ”
