“We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!”

“My wife and I stay for a long weekend, had a great time! Anything you might need is provided, watched the sun rise over the lake right from the dinning table, enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. “We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. Kez and Kyle are wonderful hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can tell they take great pride in the property. The setting is peaceful and cozy, and everything we needed was right there. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!”

A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). When I went back and looked at the photos in the listing, that should have been obvious to me, but I got hung up on the word "Studio."That said, it was a comfortable room, although the bathroom was stingy on towels (no face cloths, only one hand……
