“We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

The house is stunning with large windows that offer breathtaking views of the water-perfect for relaxing with coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening. The home was thoughtfully stacked with plenty of extra towels, toiletries, and even some snacks-made one feel right at home. The location is great-just a short distance to a charming country store, local restaurants, and scenic walking……

“We loved the lake house. It was so peaceful and quiet. The lake was beautiful. We floated in our tubes, sat in our camp chairs that we brought and read our books. My favorite things were hearing and seeing the loons, the pileated woodpeckers at the feeders and the magical pathway walk down to the lake. My son lives about 15 minutes away and it was so nice to be close by to him, Portland and Windham. We enjoyed eating dinner out on the deck as well. ”
