“This was our first time renting on the sound and we chose the perfect house! The house was clean, exactly as described and the location was perfect! We were close to restaurants, shops, and a little playground for the kids. Karen, the host, was quick to respond , she even checked in in on us on our drive down to see our eta and give instructions. She provided every ounce of instruction and recommendation you would need while staying there. Check in was easy, check out was easy. The private beach……

“We had a great week! Very quiet & peaceful location on the sound all while being very close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for extended family to have their own space, all while having great common areas to spend time together. The book and game library in the living room provide plenty of things to do inside if the weather isn't great, or if you just need to get out of the sun. Owner was very attentive and helpful and provided all the information we needed to get……

“The location is awesome. Very short walk to the beach. The home was decent. Beds were comfortable. House was pretty clean. The washing machine was broken before we got there and we weren’t told. It wouldn’t drain, so after trying to use it we had to empty the water with buckets. Over the next few days I called the property manager at least 5-6 times. Nobody would tell me when/if it would be fixed. Finally I drove to the property management office. They told me I could use the washing machine……

“We vacation every year with our best friends. As the kids get older, they want more freedom and what is better than fishing in-site? And bait & tackle in walking distance? This house has enough space for everyone - and plenty of decks! We all enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding around the sound whenever we weren’t on the beach. And the decks allowed us to watch amazing sunrises, sunsets and lightning that lit up the entire sky! In addition, the owner was fantastic at communicating……
