“This hotel is fantastic, but you definitely pay for it. Portland, in general, is expensive. Parking was $45/night, very basic hotel breakfast for 3 was $70 ($35 of that was covered by hotel amenity fee credit), but overall just expensive. I made the reservation because I wanted to be walkable to most things, and it is, but I’d save a couple hundred and drive a mile or so to something less expensive if I were ever back in Portland.”

“The property was clean with unique decor. Great coffee with limited on the go food options. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the room, however the open bathroom layout can prove to be tricky, if traveling with anyone other than yourself or a romantic partner. ”

“Had a quick one night stay at The Francis and am so glad we landed there for our only night in Portland. Extremely clean, well decorated, lots of thoughtful touches and a perfect all around vibe! Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure was great! The staff was extremely nice/helpful. Very walkable area right on Congress next to so many cute dining places. If you’re looking for a well-appointed place on a great location with lots of charm, The Francis is it! ”

“Clean, comfortable and very convenient to Thompson's point, plenty of restaurants and things to do right nearby. We stayed in a room with a shared Hall. Was not inconvenient, room still has a sink which was a nice added benefit. Coffee and breakfast was included in the morning, parking lot in the back of the hotel was convenient. Will definitely stay again!”
