“We had a lovely 3 night stay at the hotel and eat there twice with 6 other friends. The service was excellent, from the booking process to the bar service and the waiting on in the restaurant. We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. The room was large and clean and we had no complaints. The food was superb on both nights and I would highly recommend the Chicken curry. The breakfasts were also excellent. It is worth noting the steps from the car park to the hotel but it……

“Friendly, helpful staff. Be aware that meals are not available at this property, but there is a good choice of cafes and restaurants very close by. Please also be aware that all the rooms are either on the 1st or 2nd floor and that there is no lift (elevator). I would be happy to stay here again.”

“We had a lovely warm welcome, the red lion was very clean lots of beers & lager's to chose from.. The room was very clean, everything you needed was there plenty of tea and coffee on the plus side there was a mini fridge, king size bed all the toiletry you need.. the shower was a good size big shower head, made a real change not to have white towels we had a light grey made a huge difference..
