“We mainly used the house as a sleeping spot. We had a remembrance for my late wife in the area and had to set that up at a park south of Rochester. We have a lot of family in the area and had to visit with them, so we didn't really hang out in the house much during the day. The keurig was a nice accessory. We could have used more towels. There were 4 of us and only 3 towels.Having access to a washer/dryer was nice.”

“We loved our stay! The house was clean and tidy, and had all amenities listed. The view and the location were second to none. The owners were next door and friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again. So enjoyable! ”

“We had a lovely stay for my son’s graduation at RIT. Great little place to gather as a family for hang time and dinner. Loved the endless sounds of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Not too far from everything.”

“Booked this place to be near a anniversary celebration for a couple we have known for years. Its was my wife and I, as well as our daughter and her 10 year old son. Its a quiet house with a nice sized yard, perfect for a game of catch with my Grandson. It is an older house but clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable, Water was nice and hot, Kerig coffee pods were provided as well as bottled water in the fridge. Like most places you might not find everything you need in the cupboard……

“The lake was beautiful, and the neighbors were so kind and hospitable. The house was a little different than the photos online and wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. We still had a great time! The deck was very nice (note: you do have to cross the road to get to the waterfront). Overall, good stay for the price. ”

“This was a lovely property right on the canal. The cottage was immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable. Communication with owner was fabulous when we did have an issue, it was responded to and taken care of within minutes. This is a great location if you are visiting a college student or town. We would consider staying again even if not for school because of its location and charm ”

“The location was good the attention was amazing she would call or text when we needed help she also provided with body wash and toilet paper the house was clean spotless the only thing was that the towels were a little to small it barely covers the body but everything was good ”

Had everything we needed (including a great coffee maker).Took a walk (right around the corner) to visit some cute little shops. Very nice area. Loved the historical pictures and momentos that were in the house as well. Our host was very responsive before & during our visit! ”
