The village is full of historic homes and buildings that are well-kept. There are stores and places to eat in the village, which is helpful because the overall location is rural. There is some traffic noise but it’s overall a quiet place. The stairwell is beautiful but steep. ”

“Came down from Maine for a wedding… kind of a whirlwind trip. This was the perfect little spot to lay my head - not too far from the church or even Rochester for that matter. Nice and clean. Warm heat and hot water. Private back porch/entrance. Got breakfast twice from The Edge at Lugia’s right down the road - food was EXCELLENT (Egg Benedict Sammie w/dipping hollandaise was terrific). ”

“I absolutely ADORED this place & I will be booking here again. The shower was a bit small but it had wonderful water pressure and it got HOT!! I loved it so much!! The only warning I will give is that there are quite a few potholes in the parking lot, which is a given because it IS New York. It's not far from a few shopping centers and is placed far enough away from the road that you are not too disturbed by the sounds of traffic. ”
